本实验室开展极端使役激光制造技术、复杂结构激光极端制造技术、激光极端制造前沿技术三大方向研究。现有固定人员78人(含共建单位19人),博士或副高以上54人(含院士1人,国家人才计划4人,中国科学院百人计划2人,浙江省引才计划2人、创新青年1人),占比69.23%。科学研究人员35人,技术支撑41人,管理人员2人。研究生(硕士生、博士生)80余人。
近五年来,共发表学术论文200余篇,授权专利120余项。
